Jeff;
I don't have an answer to your question on the CV boot - I replaced my 86 900S outer CV joints and boots a few months ago and have not had any troubles. The inner joint separated at one point during the process, but it slid back together without troubles. I also intend to replace the clutch sometime soon (when I find a free day) on this car, so I appreciate your comments about the helpful link. My main reason for writing is because I also just bought a 92 TC, and think it's just great. I have a few questions about it, if you don't mind me asking.
1) Why is there a wire going into the rear seat cushion? I followed it as best I could but could not figure out what it's for - it's white with a gray stripe.
2) Might you know how this rear seat cushion is put together? I wanted to fix some of the loose upholstry threads (that give the seat its contour) but could not figure out how to get at them.
Any suggestions/information would be useful and appreciated.
Regards,
Charles
