I had a 77 Ford Grenada- called it Rudy, after the Clash's "Rudy Can't Fail" song. Everytime it was about to die- I would sing it... it worked!
The Saab simply get the appropriate name for the occassion now. Like when the rack is dumping oil- 'peice of shit' Or when some says, "Wow- nice car-" then it's 'yeah, she's a beut..' The 'money pit' is pretty common, but for the most part- Saab IV or THE SAAB (all caps).
