A Guess based on your poor mileage and warmup with warm engine.
Could be a dirty warmup regulator. It controls the control back pressure on the fuel distributor. It may be stuck in the "open" positon (on my 85 NA 8V this brings down the control back pressure to approx 35 psig (cold engine)..which is the fuel pressure needle regulator set pressure). During the first 50 seconds or so, it is supposed to close further giving about 55 psig of back pressure, reducing the fuel supply pressure to the injectors. Could be the needle regulator too..it is in series with the cold pressure warmup regulator....would suggest pressure testing the control line with a gauge similar to the JC Whitney CIS test gauges...The other fuel adjustment system O2 sensor/modulating valve probably can not compensate the amount of false enrichment by the warmup regulator or needle valve regulator in the distributor...
