I have had a beautiful set of '16 Super Aero wheels sitting around for a year now, well, the time has come for me to have them redrilled to fit onto my '85 SPG.
There really arent any places around here who have done this procedure before, or work on wheels for that matter. There is a machine shop nearby that I think could do it. Is there anything that needs special care while doing this??? Any tricks? Anything that could go wrong? If I have them rerilled will they be ready to just bolt right on, or is there something else that has to be done? I heard that they need to be plained off in the back for an exact fit.
Please give me some advice, anyone have any experience with this?? I don't want to ruin these things, there is almost perfect condition with all new center caps.
Thanks a lot!!!
