The front wheel bearing have both and inner and outer bearing and an inner and outer race. My car had classic bearing noise. When I would make a right and unload the right side the noise would stop. When I would make an turn to the left and load the right side the noise would increase. Obviously the right bearing! Wrong. I had alway heard the load and unload test will tell you which bearing it is and my head was telling my to replace the right bearing, but my gut was telling me it was the left bearing as the sound seemed just a tad louder on the left side. So I comprimised between head and gut and replaced both bearings. As it turns out my gut was right. The left side bearing had gone bad on the inner race of the inner bearing. So when loading the suspension to the left in a right turn actually unloaded the far right race in the left bearing and tricking the "load/unload" tester into replacing the wrong bearing. I say have someone else drive your car so you can ride shotgun and hear how it sounds on the passenger side of the car. That will be a better giude to which bearing is bad. OR! Just replace both and be done with it. Good luck
