illusion. Johann spoke of worn out springs, but I'll tell you something, the springs on the 83 and two 84s I have just haven't quit. And like Pat said, just based on bicep weight, the auto and mann trannies feel almost the same. Possible illusions are these. When I park on a slight hill and put the parking brake on first, turn off the car, and then let the clutch out, the car appears about 2 inches higher than if I park on a level spot. Rolling back against the e-brake could raise your front end/lower the back. Another thought I just had is that when I had 195-65R15s the car looked lower in the front. Now I have 205/55R15s and the car just looks higher in the front. Maybe just oldtimers disease settin in. Compare tire sizes and do the brake thing and let us know. Good luck
Ron
