Hey, I should let you know that I m having the SAME problem. It will get worse unfortunatly. There are 3 solutions. The first is the obvious: New Tranny (rebuilt or otherwise). The second is pay some unfortunate soul to rebuild it. The third (my favorite) is to pay a visit to WWW.townsendimports.com and look under the Technical Documents area and then at the Transmissions section. There is a special modifiation that you can do to the linkage in the tranny that will engage the gears more fully nd solve the problem. If you go slow and follow directions, it is no sweat. also, put in three quarts of REDLINE MTF when you are done as the tranny lube. otherwise, you are stuck holding the shifter back while it grinds and lurches in reverse and that can make a monkey growl...
good luck
