I think that maybe Saabers use NGK because they were OEM...
That would be dumb because Saab would try to use spark plugs that got the job done but were cheap - to lower mfg cost. NGK may work ok but in my opinion they're not GREAT.
Bosch +4s are OK too and just OK. They aren't adjustable and they don't work very well in lots of strange environments (like mine: high altitude, cold nights, hot days).
I've always used Bosch Platinum (not +4) on my Saabs, .024 on the Turbo and .026 on the NA, and for me, that's the best choice. They last forever and I feel they offer the best performance. And they don't cost $25-30 per set!
