Bottom seat cover... which clips (7) go where? ...

Okay, I figured out how to get the bottom seat cover of my driver's seat OFF (it was a duh!-smack-yourself-on-the-forehead type deal) but when I pulled it off, all the little clips that I had removed jumped off the cover just to spite me. Thus, I have no idea where to put the set of small clips--there are two sizes: large and small, with 5 of the 7 being large. Do they go all the way in the back, along the middle, on the front sides? I don't want to try to force them on in a place that they won't fit!
On a brighter note, I sewed up the little rip in the thread nicely with some very closely colored gray upholstery thread (man that stuff is hard to break :) good, though) and I sewed the metal seat "frame" back onto the cover since it looked like the loop that it had been run through to hold it on had disintegrated. My seat (once I get it back together) should be better than ever!
TIA,
Tim B.
