saab hoods are a b*tch because they open forward, hinge first. It takes very little to mess them up. before i bought my car it suffered a very minor hit to the right front corner. the fender was knocked out and the damage was low enough to be covered by the SPG panel so it wasn't replaced. Anyway, it messed a couple other things up as well i guess because the hood doesn't seem to fit as flush i as i would like. It opens and closes fine as well as both doors, but when it is closed it looks set back too much and sits high over both indicator lights at each corner (3/4 of an inch to an inch gap maybe. in the center it appears okay as well as down each side as it gets smaller and smaller toward the back. It isn't asnoticable as it may sound. I am hoping i can just loosen the hinge and adjust it that way enough that it will fit better. It could also be the hood slighty warped? or the hinge itself or the radiator support? any other suggestions?
