Same with the equalizer hole (I used mine for an in-dash CD player, put an am-fm-cassette where the radio was). I even used the stock radio box to put the new head unit in rather than use the DIN frame that came with the Blaupunkt Malibu...I just cut out the saab socket and had to nibble a new hole in the saab box for the radio antenna. The saab box was clearly superior to the frame that came with the Blaup.

If you have a separate amp for speakers (I dunno if the 94TC came with a saab amp) you generally have to remove the amp from the circuit and either use a separate amp with preamp outputs from your new head unit or just use the internal amp with the head unit (I wouldn't advise just a tuner/preamp head unit unless you plan to put a stereo in your car that exceeds the value of your car...).
