Well, you said the E brake wasn't on, so that means the light on your dashboard wasn't lit up. From what I can tell from all this, Meinike is full of S. I doubt very seriously your car's brakes we're worked on right at all. And I doubt very seriously you would drive down the road with your emergency brake on, people at the vet testing place did that and I about killed them when the guy gunned my engine. I gave him a reprimand and left a nasty note with the on-duty manager. I could here the rotors on my front tires squeeling against the braking system, I'm like "What in the @#$#@ are you doing?!" then the guy tells me "I don't want the car moving on the pads," I'm like "I sure as hell don't see you putting parking brakes on any other cars! I'll send you the bill if I need a new brake system on my car," and he's like whatever. Did they say it would cost you anymore money to get "that problem" fixed? If so, you will know they are ripping you off. I'll only let Firestone and this place called Michael Tire work on my car, the mechanics there love Saabs. It's great. Your new brakes smoke to get worked in?? That's the funniest thing I have ever heard! Try to shy away from any dealerships that work on Saabs, they tend to charge out the door for even a routine engine check. That's my opinion.
