after that it's gonna vibrate alot, but it takes a very long time before the axle actually breaks from this abuse.
But all people have different levels of acceptance when it comes to vibrations, so in your case it could be in the very beginning of wear and in another customer case it could be close to the end when they finally start to notice the vibrations.
You could maybe have a shop put some more grease into the driver, I did that today on a car that was empty, and the customer didn't want to replace the driver yet.
Open up the hoseclamp around axleboot and push some grease inside boot and driver. It only takes half an hour.
