I just put this engine in 3 months ago, but I have not driven it. I hadt run the engine in 3 months until this morning. The car was sitting in the driveway, with the hood off, and covered by a tarp for those 3 months. Also, the first month of those 3 months that the car was under a tarp in the driveway, the valve cover was completely removed. I guess water could have condensated to make a nice amount of water in the oil pan. I just had so much trouble getting that valve cover gasket in, and then I had to go back to school, etc.
This engine was in very good condition before I took it out of my other '87 900 for the transplant. I dont think the gasket would really blow by running it for about 1 hour cummulative time since I intalled the engine. I think I will go the condensation route and drain the oil, refill, and see if the milky stuff comes back. Thanks for the advice.
