a question of value vs. price

OK everyone, this could be one of my last messages on this board as a Saab owner. I currently have my 1988 900T Convertible on sale here on the classified section. It looks IDENTICAL to the Springtime in Sweden edition with the black exterior, gray interior, and all your favorite SPG goodies - I just can't verify it so I'm not selling it as a genuine SiS. I have had some mechanical repairs done on the car since I bought it - including a new top and new brakes and new tires, and I put in an Alpine CD deck. I'm asking $7000, but I'm not really expecting to get quite that much. However, I've had three offers so far and they've all been for about $4000. I was really expecting the car to be worth considerably more. It's in really good shape for a 14 year old car with 190,000 miles on it. The book value of my car in "good" condition (realistic) is about $4000, but that is without the SPG stuff - which I figure is about $1000 extra if you wanted to buy the pieces used and have them professionally installed...a little cheaper if you did it yourself. What is a reasonable price to ask for a car of this vintage? I'm thinking I should get $5000 or more for it. I'm a little discouraged about the offers I've received. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Josh
