i just sold our 85 900t 4dr an hour ago and was dumb enough to let her (the buyer) drive off with our tags! I told her I need them back by tuesday or I'll have to "report it". TO who I don't know.. I just said that to get them back. What you do is get the title and take it home. Get the plates and drive back to get the car. Other than that you'll have to have it towed. Personally, I would take some plates off another saab if you have one. If you stay below the speed limit the odds of being pulled over are very slim. And if you are, the plates will come up as for a saab in your name. He'll write you the speeding ticket and move on.
