One of these days I too might get around to posting pics of the 82T sedan I restored. Shame I didn't take more detailed pics of the "before" condition. Most who saw it then don't believe it's the same car. The interior looked like a crud bomb went off in there. The engine and engine compartment was a massive mess of oil leaks and caked dirt. Add exhaust leaks, frayed wires, corroded connections, an inoperable APC, a dead dash, balding mismatched tires on bent curb rash rims, a badly faded bluegreen paint job, a smacked right front corner, gashed bumper, buckled hood, a cracked exhaust manifold and no front brakes. I bought it because it started easily from a cold start and the transmission was quiet. It took two solid weeks to combine the best of a scrapyard bound 82 900n/a with the "new" 82 900T, plus some serious cleaning and fast fixes to the point where it was reliably safe to drive. Add 6 more months of weekend trips to the local parts yards, then overhauling and/or replacing one piece at a time until I eventually got it looking and driving mighty fine. I highly recommend such a project for any DIY SAAB afficianado.
