There are many BB post. I cleaned and lubricated the mechanical/electrical lock linkages and wiring/connectors of all four doors, rear gate, and in both driver/passenger side wheel housings. It helped a lot but still happens sometimes. One more possibility is the "central control unit" locating beneath glove box, which I've not done. There are many posts in this B.B... See below, for example. (DIY '93 900S 79K)

I had this problem on my 87,900. Under the dash on the passengers side is the door lock control relay. It's got a metal clip that holds it to the A/C duct near the floor board. I removed this relay, opened it up and cleaned the contacts. Mine was full of dead ants stopping the relay from closing. I hope this helps.
