I'm excited to tell you about the new addition to my Saab family! It's a dark green 94 S Convertible!! Currently have a 9³ and a SPG.
Alarm questions. Does not have the remotes for the alarm.
First question: I understood the alarm brain to be under the rear seat. I pulled the cushion out and it's not directly under it for sure. Is it underneath the metal that the seat cushion sits on top of?
Second question: Assuming that the brain is there, how hard is it swap the alarm chip? Does it require desoldering the old one out and resolding the new one?
Temperature questions:
When idling, the car tends to run about 1/3" down from the red line, though it doesn't actually ever get to the red line. When going down the road, the temp. is at about half way on the guage.
My SPG pretty much never crosses above the middle of the guage.
Thanks,
Michael
