a worn passenger side inner driver and a worn passenger side motor mount.
The inner drivers tend to wear faster than the drivers side and cause a vibration under acceleration that would be amplified by a motor mount that doesn't dampen the vibration well.
The excessive shifter movement might have been caused by the rear motor mounts lifting when you went into reverse when you were rocking the car to get it out of the snow.
