What's the best way to pinpoint the problem. Is there a way to rule out the Alternator as the problem. I did notice that my + cable was cut and copper exposed. I had since taped it up good and the problem still exsited. It's funny, over the last week, the car would start and run fine one day then on another it would be completely dead. I just put a new battery in. Car ran good for about twenty nminutes then died. When I took the battery back to Sears, they told me it was dead. They charged it up. I put it back in and within 10-15 minutes they car stalled and lost all juice, not even the flahsers. Prior to it dying out, the car's head lights went dim. This happened about a week prior also. That time, I had the old battery charged up and it ran fine for a full week. I would think that once the alternator startes to go, the car won't hold any juice. Why did I have full week w/o problems ??
