I have a 91 Turbo convertible that has an unusal noise come from the underbody of the vehicle. You can usually only hear it well when you are driving next to a curb and the noise deflects up at you. At first I thought it was an exhaust hanger, but it was not. Then, the dealer thought it was the rear brakes and readjusted them. It is still there!
It happends at 15 mph+ and will occur with the vehicle in drive or neutral. It sounds like it COULD be a wheel bearing but I am not sure. I can compare the noise to metal clothes hangers shaking against each other (A real light metallic rattle sound.) Any idea's??
