But you do have to have a flush kit. Its a small canister that A/C solvent is put in and then pressurized with compressed Air. They cost (I paid $60)less than a vacume pump, which you will need also. When it comes to the compressor, Its best to install a new or rebuilt as it is very difficult to get all the old oil out, but it can be done by turning it by hand while flushing.Saab recomends remaval of at least 90% of the old oil, By replacing the compressor you should get 99-100% with a flush. Don't take a chance, replace the filter. The expansion valve is cheap insurance also. If you don't remove it (Expansion valve) while flushing you have to heat its capillary tube with hot water to hold it open while flushing. Not sure about the 900 but the 9000 requires 135ml of oil and 950 grams of R134a for a 1992.
