Power locks defying logic-help!

O.K. powerlocks stopped working.....symptoms: will lock doors but not unlock them. now all are locked, sitting inside lock drivers side, can hear relay click, unlock driver door, nothing. If I open up relay and physically trip open circuit entire car unlocks. then lock car with dr. door everthing locks, but will not unlock!
Actions taken:
swapped for known good relay.
swapped for known good door actuator.
confirmed continuity in door wiring.
confirmed continuity from plug in fender to fuse block and 29 pin connector.
confirmed continuity from 29 pin conn. to relay (may have been a little weak on white/green wire)
checked for voltage at connector in fender
cleaned all connections
performed limited "Bentley " test for voltage at relay, o.k. for lock, but no reading for unlock.
visually traced and inspected all wires involved the best I could, even under the fuse block. All looked clean, no burns or breaks.
I am stumped, anyone have any ideas?
I really liked this feature and want it back!
