New Exhaust System ?

I have read many of the previous posts regarding new exhaust systems, especially the system from MSS. Although many of the posts talk about either turbo or SPG model. I gather that the MSS exhaust is a performance exhaust system. It seems that most of the people who have them agree that it is louder then a normal system. I need to replace from the cat back on my 89 900S. There are several holes in the center pipe and the muffler is shot. It loud enough now where it's bothersome. Also, I need a safety and emmisions test by the end of the month. I'm trying to find a decent system that won't cost me an arm and leg. My intention is not to put alot of money into this car, as of yet. Has anybody recently purchused a MSS system for a non turbo. Are you happy with the sound. What is the cost for a system, if anyone knows a current price. I had read about people taking there car to a chain muffler shop, and having them install the MSS system at a "flat Rate". Is this a good idea ?, I don't have access to a lift, and again, don't want to spend alot on having somone do the install.
