Hi all,
I'm a bit baffled by this one. (Not a biggie, though, car runs OK.)

Here's the deal: I had the accessory center console out (the one below the radio & HVAC switches) on my Mom's 1990 3-dr. base 900. To my surprise, there was a black 10-pin female connector plug curled up and tucked in behind the cubbyhole portion of the console. It leads up into the knee bolster somewhere.

Get this: It's labeled "TEST.AIC" in thin, white letters like someone marked on it with a Wite-Out pen, etc.

Any ideas? Is it for testing the AIC valve? Or is that label misleading and it's really for some audio system component on higher-end "S" and Turbo models which Mom's base 900 missed out on? I'm just curious.
