Well, i got home and tried some of the suggestions. I pulled the fuel pump fuse, cranked a few times, then put the fuse back in...to my suprise, it started right up again! WOO HOO...BUT! now there's a few other little issues....as it was warming up, i smelt a burning smell in the cabin, and when i got out (while engine running) to check, there was some smoke. OH NO! I tracked it down to be coming from the front side of the turbo, from the bottom (i couldn't see very well, it was dark, the battery heat sheild was in the way, and the turbo heat sheild blocked my view too) . There looked to be a little fluid there...but i'm not sure it was oil (it looked lighter than that). About a month and a half ago, i blew the clutch slave cyclender. When that was replaced, the clutch shaft seal went a few days late (which i took it back) so needless to say there was a fair bit of brake fluid at the front of the engine bay. Could this be causing it? Wouldn't it have burnt off in the last few weeks of driving? Any other ideas what would be causing smoke? I'm concerned it might be the turbo, but i don't think i have excessive white smoke coming out while driving (i took it for a drive this evening, and there was some white smoke, i think it's steam considering it's -15C here still). How much smoke is there when you blow the turbo?
Any other thoughts? I would like to find the problem before i drive it too much more! (i've learned with these cars, the MINUTE you find a problem, get it fixed, it will save you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
Thanks for your help
Ryan
