May not be the clutch disc at all...just a worn master clutch plunger ($24) and clutch foot pedal...way to tell is if as you push down you can not feel it actually push against something "solid" until a substantial amount of pedal travel has already been used up......unfortunately, the clevis pin which connects the foot pedal to the master plunger yoke wears an oblong hole into the pedal and yoke...thus over time there is a lot of slop before you are actually pushing on plunger...it is certainly a DIY type of job. I have replaced the master clutch seals, yoke, and foot pedal in about an hour without removing the master cylinder....just take out the front seat for lots of working room....Besides removing the clevis pin, pedal retaining bolt etc...you will need to pinch off the clutch fluid line from the brake master cylinder/use a rag to catch little remaining fluid out of the master clutch cylinder/remove a 3/4 inch internal circlip to get the plunger out/places like Pep Boys has replace clips should you break it...I know....
