I worked at a wind tunnel last summer and they used (expensive) labview software to record everything. THe data was input from (expensive) rack mounted pressure sensor equipment. I learned the value of being able to record data, change something, and check the data again. It was easy for the nascar teams that came in to find the aero value of very small changes to their cars. AS far as O2 sensors.. I don't have data on a bad sensor yet. But the bosch rep told me with age the response time goes down. I also believe he said they can eventually give steady but false readings. I'm not sure, but if you connect the card and don't see the signal vary much..you could assume the sensor is bad. Maybe I'll know more after building a database of dataq files! Like I said in the other post, $25 isn't much money for what you get. I paid $25 for my cheap radioshack voltmeter.
