Hard to get out of 5th

Recently my 1990 900 TC with 195k on it has been a bear to get out of 5th after being on the highway for a while. Around town its not noticeable but its realy realy hard when crusing for a while. Its always been tricky to find 5th but, Ive gotten used to it. Obviously its related to being hot. The engen runs normal temp all the time and the gear oil 80-90 is fairly new and its whats always been in there. Ive had all sorts of oils in there in the past and never found a diff. The gear oil has been in there for about 3 chenges so its "pure". I live in S. Fla if temp makes any diff. What do you all think?
