I'm working on diagnosing my A/C problem, which is definitely electrical. To test the freeze switch, do I have to remove parts of the dash? Bentley shows it coming out a hole in the fender...this isnt possible in my '90 so they must have been using an older car for the photo. if I stand on my head in the passenger floor, will I be able to see it?
The Townsend site has a pretty good diagnostic on testing this system but regarding the anti-freeze switch it says, "There is a connector at the fuse box "H29-3" Its black and if you have a problem here just grab the connector from under the dash and move it. I have seen cases in older cars from the rust zone with a weak connection in this area."
Can anybody clarify this for me? I thought all the fuses were on the fenders, not under the dash!? Please explain as if to a 10 year old because my skills are low with electrical issues. Thanks!
