OK, I pushed the car into the drive and thought I'd fix it today.
FYI:
New cap/rotor/plugs/fuel filter ~6k miles ago
New brushes/voltage regulator ~3k miles ago
I dropped in the battery from my ragtop (probably 1 month old) and the car still didn't want to turn over. Thererfore I rule out battery issues. It's engine, fuel, ignition, or some other electrical.
I cleaned the ground strap around on the front cross member (loosened bolt, sprayed some contact cleaner, jiggled a bunch, then retightened.
I inspected inside the cap, looks fine.
Removed and reseated the following connections: injectors, wires on cap, ign coil wire on cap, amm. Jiggled the small black wire at bottom of alternator.
Still no go.
ny ideas? Pat, all the beer you can drink and dinner for you and your lady if you feel like cruising over! I'm gonna grab lunch and see what you guys think, then start fixin'.
Randy
Pat, i'm at 216-691-5925 or 216-798-1208 (cell)
