Well, yes you are getting screwed IMHO. Those prices are absurd. This is an easy fix you can do yourself. You can get fans from junkyards, most I've seen for them is $75.00. Thermostat price is ok. but the labor and flush prices are ridiculous. Why are both fans being replaced anyway?
Get it towed home, hit the junkyard, and have it fixed for under $100. This really is an easy job.
