Serious SPG Consideration

I've had a major change in thinking recently, and am now SERIOUSLY considering a 1990 or 1991 Black or Edwardian Grey 900 SPG (with factory original grey "tinted" Super Aero Wheels) instead of a 2002 Aero sedan. Specifically I'd be looking for as near to perfect an example as is in existence.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone could give me a sense of the ownership experience of a such a car if any of you drive one . . . how much more of an effort is maintenance than a new car? (would I need to change fluids weekly?, etc.) . . . if in excellent condition, would you have to worry about reliability?
Does the '90/'91 SPG have loud interior levels? Is the 185 hp engine spritely, or would it quickly become a bore in urban traffic? For an audiophile who adores his current 9-5's 250 watt HK sound system, would the stock system on the SPG be acceptable?
I've reached middle age (22 years old) and simply don't think I can handle the same old, same old any more, even if that includes Saabs newest models. I've had a '97 Catera and a '99 9-5 I-6 to date, and so I think it's time for a two door avec a manual trans. I yearn for something classic and elegant with a little spicyness added for good measure, . . . I've found that in the SPG.
Now if only it were a pratical, real world option. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
