The speaker covers on the dashboard are each held in with 2 Torx screws (size T-15, I think.) I've got a screwdriver bit set with all different sized philips, flathead, square drive, hex, torx, etc... bits, a screwdriver handle, and a power drill adaptor (4" long magnetic bit holder which clamps into a drill)
The windshield won't let you fit a regular screwdriver-sized tool correctly, so I use the T-15 bit in the power drill adaptor, and turn it with a pair of pliers. Once the torx screws are removed, the speakers pull out still connected to the covers. The covers are held in place by some spring-clips, so be careful not to let the spring-clips rip the dash.
After the speakers have been removed from the dash, unplug the wires and pry off the clips holding the speakers to the covers. Once you've gotten this far, reassembly is a snap. Just make sure the ventilation tubes are aligned when fitting the speaker covers back into the dash.
If you don't have a screwdriver bit set, I wholeheartedly endorse getting one. I think you can pick them up at Sears for less than $20.00
