Just put new front pads & a new RF caliper on '86 SPG. Now that side is dragging. On the first drive, there was a steady whoosh-whoosh as the wheel rotated, & the disk got hot. Everything *looks* properly aligned, & my suspicion is that it's a coat of oxidation wearing off the disk. The car sat on jackstands for a couple weeks [long story about buying wrong part in right box] & the disk got pretty oxidized. So after the test drive, there's a band of clean metal around the disk, between two bands still rusty.... Any suggestions on other things to check for? Thanks.
