I understand that advancing the timing will improve nonboost performance as long as it isn't causing knock. The increase in performance or power will also increase heat and the heat/pressure of the exhaust will spin the turbo sooner. So comparing a nonadvanced and an advanced you would see it would take less time for the turbo to spool up to the point you see response b/c there is more pressure exhaust pressure at a certain RPM. Isn't this on track or am understanding it all wrong. I'm learning:)
If this is right, I'm wondering how effective it is at reducing lag, not considering the nonboost performance.
