Got an email back from Dolby today, and here are a few little clips that sum up their interpretation of the best way to set up the system
> Naturally, the best approach is to go with matched speakers, and to use a
> center speaker (which will likely be surface mount unless you are one of

> There are a variety of surface mount speakers available on the market.

> 1) You have other passengers who would like to enjoy the sound.
> 2) Your left/right speakers are located in the door panels; a center
> speaker will help to elevate as well as center the image.
> 3) Your passengers plan to view DVDs, for which it is important to "lock"

Some interesting stuff there. Looks like i would be best off with 6.5" in the kick pannels, and if i can get a 6.5 to work in the center consol, that would be good too. As for the rears, i think the best i can do (while still maintaining a fairly stock appearance to deter theft) is get a 5.25 (or preferably a 6.5, but i don't know how i'm going to fit it) into the stock 4x10 location. Hmmm.....
I also asked this in my last post, but does anyone have any experience with a/d/s amps, especially their 6 channel amps? I'm trying to find a solution to power 5 channels equally and one sub channel, without buying a ton of amps...i figured that i would be able to use 5 of the 6 channels on the a/d/s to get this, and a seperate sub amp? are a/d/s worth looking at, is there any others?
Thanks again
Ryan
