Turbo Replacement.. A Big Deal?

'92 900T auto at 139k miles. Turbo blows oil (the feed tube to the intercooler is nasty with it) and I think it's the source of a nasty rattle (like nuts in a coffee can) when the car is running but cold.

I've got all of the tubing and plumbing out for a radiator replacement already, and I'm wondering if this is a good time to get a fresh turbo in there while I'm at it.

I've found three sources for the TE05-128 Mitsubishi turbo that factory put in:

1. Turbo City in CA says the'll remanufacture mine for about $300, if I send them my core and wait.

2. Eriksson has a rebuilt one on the shelf for $595 + core.

3. eEuroParts.com has a NEW one, all beautiful and shiny, for $695 + core.

OK, I'm really tempted by NEW, but I could do with rebuilt. My question is, is getting the old tubro off and the new one on a biger deal than it looks? It seems like a few rusty bolts and some oil lines are all that there is. Am I opening a real can of worms here?
