Spark plugs are not causing problem. I'd go back to 7ev's the next time you change plugs, though.

Since everything is up to snuff and you don't get a light any other time, I am wondering if your throttle position switch or its wiring might be causing problems when you hit WOT. The ECU system goes to open loop when you floor it. I'll bet you are not at constant WOT as you accelerate and the light flashes at momentary WOT. I would do the check on the switch at idle and WOT for continuity between center and alternate outer connectors. Check wiring and connectors. When you go to open loop, the O2 sensor is not in play and the AMM is the only mixture control device. check and clean plug on AMM just for the hell of it.
