I am experiencing a high idle situation since i had a no start situation which was corrected with a new rotor and distributor cap.
I've cleaned the AIV, and this weekend will clean the throttle and replace plugs, wires, and some vacuum hoses and bushings.
However, i was thinking.... when i had the no start situation, i depleted the battery from cranking the engine so many times. I know the mechanic hooked it up to a charger, is it possible that while charging the battery it somehow affected the AMM?
I also read on another post that you can "reset" the AMM by unplugging the battery for more than 15 minutes... would this be a good idea for me to try?
PS- my Bently manual finally arrived today, good reading so far, and MUCH better than the Haynes i've tried to deal with for the last 10 years
