Here's what interlocks the compressor clutch (& I guess the fan, too)...
1: Low pressure - switch on receiver/dryer below horn.
2: High temperature - switch in upper radiator hose.
3: Low temperature - somewhere in evaporator.
All these switches are closed to run the AC. Any one opens the circuit to shut off the compressor.
Gotta jumper #1 or it won't work. Since you don't even have a compressor, I'd jumper #2 also; when the coolant is too hot, you don't want this to prevent you from running the 2nd fan. If you've removed your evaporator #3 is gone(?); you may have to make a connection there to complete the circuit?
Did I leave anything out?
But... Like Anders said, if a bad radiator is your REAL problem, you should deal with that. If everything is good, it won't get too hot in the first place.
