Well today I was installing my manual fan switch and I poked the wire through the fuel line hole which is straight down the firewall from the master cylinder. I stuck a coathanger down there to pull the wire up, and I was met with some resistance. The coathanger got stuck on something, but I pulled harder and then heard a pop about half way up to the master cylinder. This sound was immediately followed by the sound of liquid flowing and the ground was quickly covered with what brake fluid had been in the master cylinder reservoir.
What I'm wondering is, since I must have broken a brake line, how tough are those to replace? Am I going to be taking the master cylinder off to get to this thing? I wish when I had my engine out I had paid more attention to what was under the master cylinder area, I would have a better idea of what I screwed up (since I cant actually see anything broken right now). THanks for any info.
