That will give you a better idea of what to ask....if you're going to sell. Good ballpark is between $4500 to $7000 maybe $8000...depending on how bad someone wants to buy it.
Not trying to burst your bubble either but these cars do not fetch a premium anywhere. I agree the blue book values are very low but not way out of line when you look at the demand for an old 900. It doesn't exist outside of people who are hooked on SAAB's.
Why on earth would you sell your car....it sounds from your description that it is very nice? Keep it. You can not find a new car to replace it that is as solid and has as much character.
But that's just my $0.02 worth.
