Leverage, leverage, leverage. Given the close proximity of the nut proper to the firewall, oftentimes a 30mm socket is too long to fit, especially with a 1/2 drive breaker bar added. So the secret is to cut the socket down (hacksaw, sawzall). Then you must have the room to slip a 3 ft long pipe over the breaker bar and give it a good pull. I've never had to do it, so this is just a guess, but with a standard set of car ramps you may be able to get enough leverage. A shorter pipe length may also work, if you have enough muscle and a good back. If you do attempt it with a set of ramps - in the search for the most leverage, you may find yourself in a contorted position with your feet slipped up in a wheel well, or against a protruding suspension bolt. Whatever works.
