I own one of those 400 brought to this great land. Basically the SPG of it's day. If I'm not mistaken, it was the edition which introduced the APC system. The 25 year emblem is just a center cap inserted into an otherwise stock steering wheel. The wheels on mine when I bought it were so beat up that I replaced them all. Same Inca wheel, different year. It does include the manual sun/moon roof, plus power locks on all doors and trunk (all of which still work). I also replaced the entire interior because of how destroyed it was by the previous surfer dude owner. Actually, the entire car was but a day or two away from being shipped off to the scrap yard. The indie mechanic just wanted it gone from his property. I bought it because it started, drove, and the transmission was quiet. 30,000 miles plus lots of work later and it still starts and drives.
I've changed so much about it that it doesn't quite reflect that initial edition. Two things I've replaced because of necessity were the two side mirrors, both of which were tinted a nice shade of blue to go along with the window tinting and all around blue color. I still have the right side mirror glass and would like a matching left side. If you pull that mirror (just the glass - if it isn't cracked or chipped) I'll gladly pay you for it!
Speaking of the 25 year special edition - exactly what was SAAB commemorating in 1982 that reflected 25 years? Anyone know?
