A Question Of Altitude

While driving the Angeles Crest in my '83 900T today, I was thinking about altitude in general and a trip I took in my old '72 99e in particular. That trip took me to Taos, NM. The car made its way to 10,000 feet while visiting one of the homeowners at the Taos ski area.
Here is my question: What is the highest altitude you have ever achieved behind the wheel of your SAAB? If you own a Turbo, did you notice a drop-off in power after a certain altitude? I drove at 8,000 feet today and didn't notice a dropoff like one would in a naturally aspirated car.
There are some passes in Colorado that top out at over 12,000 feet so I'm thinking some of you people have taken some pretty cool trips above the clouds.
Just something a little different to write about. Not that I'm getting tired of reading endless numbers of posts regarding transmission lube, mind you....
