Not quite sure what work you've done so far with your AC. If all you're asking about is a slipping AC clutch - could be the belt is loose, or there's some oil on the clutch face surfaces. The clutch itself is a metal to metal system. Quite simple. To clean it proper, I'd remove the outer disc and use a solvent. You know how to remove it using the special tool and a gear puller? As to where oil may have come from, I've discovered that oil seeping from my engine block/oil pump cover seals (it's an 82T with 200k miles, so it leaks a little) finds it's way onto the crank pulley wheel which then spins a fine dusting of oil upwards against the bottom of the AC compressor, and no doubt within the clutch. I too had some clutch slippage prior to disassembly of the AC system last month for an R134a refit. If I get slippage again I'll first use some carb cleaner and a clean shop rag pulled in between the clutch surfaces instead of a difficult disassembly of the clutch while the hoses are still connected to the compressor.
