When you're going 65, how many RPM is the engine turning? When you hit the gas, does the RPM increase or stay the same?
The autotranny is only a three-speed, so I wonder if you're stuck in 2nd, and wound all the way to redline at 65 mph. If the tranny won't shift up, you won't go any faster. Of course, redline will be pretty noisy, not to mention bad for the engine. Being stuck in 2nd implies a govenor problem, possibly govenor seals. But it could be as simple as something in the throttle body.
If you're leaking fluid out, my guess would be a blow seal. Parts of the transmission aren't pressurized, and actually vented to the air. If a seal has gone, pressurized fluid would flow into the vented areas, and the fluid would find its way out through the vent.
If the tranny has shifted to 3rd, but you can't go any faster, do the RPMs increase while the speed stays the same? If so, the torque converter is slipping. This could be due to a bunch of things, including low fluid levels. Not good. Continued driving this way will burn up lots of things quickly. Expensive things.
Lastly, the tranny is in 3rd, engine revs below redline, but extra pedal is no extra power. This implies a lack of engine power. What does the boost gauge do? Are you getting any boost (needle into the yellow), base boost (half yellow), or full boost (all the way to the end of the yellow/beginning of red).
