C900's mostly came with 89C t-stats, with 82C as an early option. All came with 92C fan switches.
---------------
If u have an 89C t-stat, stay with 92C switch.
If u have an 82C t-stat, and good radiator, then an 82C switch will run/wear the fans more than needed in hot weather, slow traffic. a more expensive 85C 3 pin switch can be used now (sobstory.com) and a proper 88C switch will be available in the US in about 2 weeks.
---------------------
If u have 82C t-stat and a fouled radiator, should replace rad, but 82C switch can be used as bandaid to help lower temps in traffic by using/wearing fans more than normally needed.
